Portland again came through against a WCC Power, but the triple overtime thriller on Thursday took a lot out of a Portland squad that was not able to fully capitalize on the win. The Pilots failed to get above .500 in WCC play, losing to San Diego in a Saturday matinee.

At the halfway point, Portland is 4-5 and have played 7 of their 9 home games. For Portland to move up in the conference rankings, they will have to do it on the road.
