5. Pepperdine

Last Week: 5

Record: 12-1o (5-5)

RPI: 124

KenPom: 131

Place in Conference Standings: 5

Pepperdine’s 3-0 start to conference play seems all but a distant memory at this point. The Waves have lost 5 out of their 7 games, including a recent loss to last place Pacific.

Pepperdine has displayed that they have a lot of talent – young talent at that – but they haven’t been able to get it to mesh together every contest. This is something that down the road the Waves will need to get more consistent at.

In the short term, the Waves will need to focus on its upcoming game against rival LMU, and avoid falling below .500 in conference play for the first time this season.
