This Past Week and a Half: L @ St. Johns, W vs. American
Going into WCC play, the Dons have yet to discover a type of gameplay that will consistently beat upper half teams in the WCC. Fortunately enough, most of the teams in the WCC are also experiencing problems of their own going into conference play. Further, the Green & Gold do have enough pieces of the puzzle in place to get through some tough match ups.
As the Dons travel north to Washington, they will play a good Portland squad and an always difficult Gonzaga team. USF is still trying to figure things out and fans should expect a rough road trip. However, later on the non-conference slate, these may be games that the Dons could easily claim victories at home.
