Breaking Down Gonzaga’s Non-Conference Schedule

Many Bulldog fans have scoffed at this game on the schedule, especially since the Battle in Seattle is supposed to be one of the marquee games of the non-conference slate. Gonzaga fans should not take South Alabama for granted. The Jaguars were a very solid team last year, and snagged a win against the 25^th ranked Florida State Seminoles. The Jaguars are returning Augustine Rubit, who averaged a double-double last season (19.4 points and 10.5 rebounds per game). This game should certainly be circled, underlined, or starred as a potential trap game for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Do not be shocked if this game goes down to the wire.
