No. 9- Marty Wilson (Pepperdine)

By Josh Horton

Marty Wilson is entering his third season as the Pepperdine head coach and is looking to recapture some of the magic that the university had back in the early 90’s. However, this will be an extremely hard task, with the Waves losing their second leading scorer Jordan Baker.

As the Head Coach at Pepperdine, Wilson has a 22-37 record, including one year in which the Waves finished with 12 wins, which ties the most wins the program has seen in the last eight years. This seems to indicate the program is going in the right direction, after plenty of years of poor seasons. Wilson is looking to bring the Pepperdine Waves back to the prominent team in the West Coast Conference, just as they were 20 years ago.
