Here is how the WCC fared today:
The Charlotte Hornets were absolutely crushed by the New York Knicks, with the Knicks winning by a score of 95-72. McConnell once again got the start for the Hornets, but struggled, scoring only four points on one of four shooting. In addition, he chipped in three boards, two assists and one steal.
Brendan Laneplayed about seven minutes for the Sacramento Kings and grabbed one rebound. He did not attempt a shot.
It appears former Gonzaga starMatt Bouldinhas been removed from the D-League Select All-Star team. He did see anytime in any of the team’s contests.
Austin Dayestarted his third straight game for the San Antonio Spurs in a game against the New Orleans Pelicans, and put up decent numbers. Daye scored 18 points off five of 12 shooting and led the Spurs in rebounds and assists with 11 and five respectively in their 88 to 86 win over the Pelicans.
In the Cavaliers 86 to 77 win over the 76ers,Matthew Dellavedovagot the start at point guard and led all scorers with 19 points on six of nine shooting. He also chipped in four rebounds, a steal and an assist.
Steven Grayplayed about three minutes for the Cavs, but did not score or accumulate any other statistics despite taking two shots.
Brandon Daviesstarted at power forward for the Sixers and scored 10 points in the loss. He also had three steals.
Anthony Irelandsuited up for the Los Angeles Lakers but did not play in the teams 91-88 win over Golden State.
