Five former WCC players participated in the NBA summer league action in Las Vegas today. This is how they fared:

Stephen Holt put up a very efficient stat-line for the Atlanta Hawks in his teams 90-74 loss against the Washington Wizards. Holt scored eight points (all of which came in the first half) on three of three shooting (two of two from behind the arc). He also chipped in two rebounds, an assist and a steal with zero turnovers in about 13 and a half minutes of action.

Recently graduated Gonzaga forward Sam Dower saw 8:32 of action in his first summer league playing time in Las Vegas. Dower did not score (two shots taken), but had two steals and two turnovers in the Raptors 104-83 pounding at the hand of the Nuggets.

Elias Harris played a little over 20 minutes for the Phoenix Suns in his team’s 74-72 loss to the Golden State Warriors. Harris struggled to get his offense going, but snagged six rebounds in the loss, along with committing five personal fouls.

Former Gonzaga point guard David Stockton did not play in the game for the Suns.

In the Philadelphia 76ers 74-70 win against the Utah Jazz, former BYU forward/center Brandon Davies started at power forward and played roughly 21 minutes in the victory. Davies only scored four points and grabbed two boards while committing seven personal fouls – it is impossible to “foul out” in the summer league.

There will be eight more summer league games tomorrow, meaning more former WCC players will be in action. Here is a schedule:
