There is only nine days left in the late signing period, and a few WCC schools have not filled up their allotted scholarships for the 2014-2015 season. There is also a few schools that have too many players on scholarship.

Below is a reacp of how each school is doing in the offseason, recruiting wise.

Enjoy!

Brigham Young

Who’s out: G Matt Carlino (Transfer), F Eric Mika (Mission)

Available scholarships: 0

Gonzaga

Who’s out: G/F Drew Barham; F Sam Dower; G David Stockton; G/F Gerard Coleman (Transfer)

 Who’s on the radar?

Byron Wesley

Wesley is a USC transfer that is eligible to play immediately and has Gonzaga in his final three. He visited Oklahoma State on May 2, Gonzaga on May 9 and will visit Pittsburgh on May 16. He will likely announce shortly after his visits are over.

The Zags have a pretty good shot at Wesley, and will be a more than suitable replacement for Gerard Coleman, who officially announced he was transferring yesterday.

Elijah Stewart

This former LMU commit was reportedly offered by the Bulldogs, but they were excluded on his final list of five schools. Very unlikely he comes to Gonzaga.

Namon Wright

This is a long shot, but Namon Wright could be someone the GU staff recruits now that Coleman is gone. Wright was a Gonzaga prospect until mutual interest appeared to cool off between the two parties and Wright pledged to Missouri.

After the Tigers lost their head coach, Frank Haith, Namon Wright is requesting a release from his national letter of intent.

This is highly speculative, but it’s possibility that Gonzaga could recruit Wright the second time around.

Loyola Marymount

Who’s in: F Devin Wyatt; G David Humphries; G Matt Hayes; G Simon Krajcovic

Who’s out: G Anthony Ireland; F Alex Osbourne; F Nick Stover (Transfer); F Ben Dickinson (Transfer); F Gabe Levin (Transfer); G/F C.J. Blackwell (Transfer)

Available scholarships: 5

It’s been a tough offseason for the Lions with the coaching change. Here’s some candidates to fill those five scholarships.

Who’s on the radar

Petr Herman

This 6-foot-11 big man from Czech Republic is apparently on the LMU radar. He is the teammate of current Loyola Marymount commit Simon Krajcovic at Canarias Basketball Academy in Spain.

Donte Adams

Adams, who currently attends Cecil College in North East, Mary., was offered a scholarship from LMU on May 6. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard holds offers from a host of schools on the east coast, according to verbal commits.

Devin Watson

Watson, who was originally committed to Oregon State, is reportedly on LMU’s radar. LMU assistant coach Ray Johnston coached Watson at El Camino high school in El Cajon, Calif. last season.

*With the new staff, it is unclear who is offered and who hasn’t been.

Pacific

Rumor: A player could be leaving the Tigers. More information will be released when it is known.

Pepperdine

Who’s Out: C Brendan Lane; G Nikolas Skoeun; G/F Malte Kramer; G Jeff Van Dyke (Transfer); Malcolm Brooks (Transfer)

Portland

Who’s In: G/F D’Marques Tyson; G/F Jason Todd; F Gabe Taylor; C Philipp Hartwich

Who’s Out: F Ryan Nicholas; G Korey Thieleke; G Tanner Riley; F John Bailey

Saint Mary’s

Who’s Out: G Paul McCoy; F Beau Levesque; G Stephen Holt; C Matt Hodgson; G James Walker III

Available Scholarships: -2

Word on the street is that two players are receiving academic scholarships and will be taken off athletic scholarship in order to put Saint Mary’s at the scholarship limit. With the Gaels under the NCAA sanctions, they are only allotted 11 scholarships; Saint Mary’s would be two over that limit with its current roster.

San Diego

Who’s In: G Khalil Bedart-Ghani; G Vasilije Pusica; F Cameron Nuebauer; G Marcus Harris

Who’s Out: F Dennis Kramer; G Mike Davis

Available Scholarships: 0

San Francisco

Who’s In: G Frankie Ferrari; G/F Chase Foster; F Montray Clemons

Who’s Out: F Cole Dickerson; G Avry Holmes (Transfer)

Avaliable Scholarships: 1

Who’s on the Radar

Devin Watson

Watson took a visit to San Francisco on May 9. With Avry Holmes out of the Dons backcourt, Watson could be a sought after replacement for Holmes.
