Jared Brownridge had a record breaking freshman year which earned him a #3 ranking for shooting guards. Brownridge averaged 18.4 points per game in WCC play, while shooting 41.7% from three. His best performance came in the regular season finale against Pepperdine, breaking the SCU freshman record for points in a game with 37. However, that may not have been his most impressive; that came in the WCC Tournament quarterfinals against Gonzaga. Brownridge ended up with 24 points, but the Zags did not have an answer for him the whole game.

He was a very steady, reliable player for Santa Clara this year, drawing comparisons to Kevin Foster. The Broncos are really looking forward to his bright future, one that should bring him to the top of this list by the end of his time at Santa Clara.
