Johnny Dee – Guard – San Diego

Much like another member on this team (who shall be named later), San Diego guard Johnny Dee shoots daggers and gets buckets. He has been doing it from day one of his college basketball career and continues to improve.

Dee had his best season as a scorer, averaging 16.8 points throughout the course of the season. He went through a little bit of a slump during four game stretch in the middle of the season, where the junior guard only scored 7.5 points per game. However, Dee bounced back stronger than ever, finishing off the season averaging 17.1 points.

Although Dee does not rack up a great deal of assists or rebounds, the way he forces opposing defenses to swarm him with his scoring opens up those categories to be filled up by other players such as Christopher Anderson, Dennis Kramer and Jito Kok.

Much to elation of San Diego fans, as well as fans of the conference in general, Dee is set to return to the Toreros next season. If everything goes as planned, he will rejoin backcourt mate and assist specialist Christopher Anderson to assume senior leadership on a team that will return four starters.
