Four years, three postseason appearances and 20th on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,228 points. Senior Cole Dickerson not only leaves a legacy at USF, but fostered a new spirit at the Hilltop. During the 2013-2014 season, Cole started all 32 games and averaged 14.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game (leading the team in both categories). Additionally, he was a quiet but wise leader for the Green & Gold.

"“He’s fantastic, he can score so many different ways. You know the biggest thing has been his leadership this year. I think his leadership this year took on a whole ‘nother level and he is not a vocal guy but when he says something you have other people listen. The times when he did say something everyone’s like ‘oh, we gotta pick it up’”-Rex Walters"

After the Dons overtime loss to BYU in the West Coast Conference Tournament, Rex Walters spoke volumes to Dickerson’s work ethic, leadership and unselfishness for the Dons. Even though Cole accepts his diploma later this Spring, Coach Rex Walters has already invited Dickerson back to the WCC Tournament in 2015 to watch his legacy continue as the Dons strive for a first place finish. But before that happens, Cole will suit up in a Dons uniform at least one more.  The Dons will know their postseason destination on Sunday.
