Przemek Karnowski – Center – Gonzaga
The progress Przemek Karnowski has made this season is nothing short of astounding. At the start of the season, he let smaller players take advantage of him on the glass, picked up fouls at an alarming rate and failed to convert on easy looks from the field.
Like every player he still has some faults, but Karnowski has emerged as one of the dominant big men in the conference.
Like it or not, Karnowski is instrumental for Gonzaga’s success. When Karnowski plays well, especially on the defensive end of the floor, the Bulldogs are very tough to score on and in turn very tough to beat. The big 7-footer is the Bulldogs x-factor game-in and game-out.
After playing sparingly on the transcendent 2012-2013 squad, Karnowski has posted some nice numbers that have helped fill the void that current Boston Celtic Kelly Olynyk left. The Poland native is averaging 10.2 points and 6.9 rebounds this season.
