Portland again split the week losing to San Fransisco last Wednesday, and then rebounding with a Saturday win at Santa Clara.

Portland came out flat against San Fransisco, going down early by as many as 18 before battling back and pulling within 5 before San Fransisco pulled away toward the end. As a whole, Portland struggled the whole night and struggled to get in any sort of a rhythm.

Saturday’s game was big as Portland did not want to fall to 4-7. Thomas van der Mars was efficient and pretty unstoppable. Again the question of consistency comes up as this team cannot seem to string together solid, consistent performances. This week they go to Spokane as the Zags’ try to avenge their lone WCC loss.
