You would be hard-pressed to find a team more improved in the WCC from the start of conference play than the San Diego Toreros.

After dropping their first three games of the conference season, the Toreros have won three out of their last three matchups. In those six contests, San Diego lost to Gonzaga, San Francisco and Pepperdine by an average of 3.3 points, and defeated Portland, Santa Clara and LMU.

The Toreros will host Saint Mary’s and Pacific on Thursday and Saturday, and a sweep against the Gaels and the Tigers would put the Toreros at 5-6 in WCC play.
