As of late, the Pacific Tigers have played much better than they did at the start of the conference season, where they dropped four straight and instantly tumbled to the bottom of the conference standings. Although the Tigers are still in last place, they are making progress and that is apparent.

Pacific defeated Pepperdine on Saturday by a score of 76-66, a team that was in fourth place in the conference before the loss.

This does not look like the same Pacific team that was decimated by Gonzaga on January 4th by 22 points. The Tigers have an opportunity to confirm this notion with games at BYU and San Diego this week.
