The Gonzaga Bulldogs asserted their WCC dominance on Saturday with an 84-69 over the BYU Cougars.

While Gonzaga has had a lot of success at home against the upper-echelon teams in the WCC, the Zags’ still need to travel to Provo, Moraga and San Francisco for matchups with Cougars, Gaels and Dons.

As of now, the Bulldogs are in great shape for an at-large bid (if it came to it) and are in great position to win the WCC regular season title. Although it is father down the road, the Bulldogs matchup with the Gaels on March 1st could have massive conference title implications.

The Bulldogs currently find themselves with an 8-1 record and 1.5 game lead over second place Saint Mary’s.
