After a rocky start to conference play, the Cougars have finally found their stride.
BYU has arguably the best backup point guard in the nation in Matt Carlino. Carlino seems to finally have accepted his role, and has played great in the past few games.
Over the past three contests, Carlino has averaged 16.6 points, shot 53.3 percent from the field and connected on 56.2 percent of his three pointers.
If the Cougars keep this type of play up, they will be tough to beat down the stretch. BYU travels up to Spokane for its toughest test of the conference season.
