After getting out to a quick start in conference play, the Loyola Marymount Lions have fallen to 8th place after dropping 4 straight games.
The Lions inability to put points on the scoreboard is what is really hurting them. In the Lions four game winning streak prior to their four game losing streak, they were averaging 82.8 points. In the losing streak, Loyola Marymount is only averaging 69.3 points.
Part of the reason the Lions are so hard-pressed to find scoring is because they have no consistent big-men they can look to. Freshman Gabe Levin has tailed off a bit since his great start to the season, as well as Ben Dickinson. The Lions will need one of those guys to step up and produce in order to save their season.
