As well as the Dons are doing to start league play at 4-2, USF is still struggling to find some ideal point guard play from Avry Holmes. Each game Holmes shows progression, and his improvement will later make the Green & Gold a WCC threat as the schedule moves closer to March.

Looking forward to the next few games, USF gets settled for a five game home stand. They will go up against teams like SCU, BYU and USD for the first time this season. USF can really solidify itself as a top half WCC team with some quality wins at War Memorial Gym. At this point, the Dons need to do enough to linger high among the standings and hope to get hot at the right time. The way the West Coast Conference Tournament is structured this year, a top 4 finish could propel the Dons into interesting territory.
