9. Pacific
Ranking Before Conf. Play Began: 3
Record: 10-6 (1-4)
RPI: 73
KenPom: 131
Place in Conf. Standings: 9
The WCC has not been a generous place for Pacific. The Tigers find themselves with a 1-4 record after playing their first five conference games and in last place in the conference.
However, the Tigers played a tough schedule in the early going, going toe-to-toe with the 1st, 2nd and 4th place teams in the conference it their first five games (Gonzaga, Saint Mary’s and San Francisco). Are the Tigers immediate struggles a product of their tough schedule, or are the Tigers not ready for WCC competition? The next 3 or 4 games will indicate that.
