This Past Week and a Half: L vs. Kansas State

Gonzaga had a rough week, with their only game being a loss to Kansas State in Wichita. Yet, the Bulldogs find themselves atop the WCC power rankings.

The Zags could not penetrate the fierce Kansas State defense and struggled with the Wildcats physicality.

Samuel Dower Jr. left the 1st half with a hip bruise. X-rays after the game were negative, and his status is unclear. The Bulldogs will need him for conference season, and a matchup versus Memphis in February.

The Bulldogs come into conference play with a 10-2 record, with their marquee victory coming against West Virginia on the road.

Gonzaga starts conference play this upcoming Saturday with a home game against Santa Clara.
