San Francisco is a difficult team to judge. Due to the high amount of returning players to start the season, there was extra hope and momentum for the Green & Gold’s chances in the WCC. Since the departure of Cody Doolin, the Dons are left trying to redefine themselves before WCC play. Even without Doolin, the Dons are still a dangerous team that can bite when least expected. A huge test is upcoming as the true “post-Doolin” team has finally had enough time to take a step back and redefine their game plan. USF takes on St. John’s from the Big East this week in a game that will reveal how fans can expect to judge the Dons going into WCC play.
