Pepperdine is an interesting team to analyze.

With so many new faces, the Waves were not expected to do much in the WCC this season. However, with wins over teams like Denver and UC Irvine, the Waves have shown the potential to possibly contend with some of the recent powerhouses in the WCC.

Newcomers Brendan Lane, Jeremy Major and Malcolm Brooks are a large reason why. If these players improve as the season goes on, the Waves could be a dangerous team moving forward.
