With hopes to bring its overall record to .500, Santa Clara will come into tonight’s game versus Radford with great intensity and passion. The Broncos simply need this game to turn their season around.

Not only would a win over Radford help the Broncos record, it would look mighty fine on their resume. Here’s why.

The Highlanders come into this game with a solid 6-2 record, with wins versus Chattanooga, Brevard (non-DI), Binghamton, Cornell, Central Penn and North Carolina A&T and losses versus George Washington and Virginia Tech.

Outside of Virginia Tech and George Washington, games in which they lost, Radford has not played the most challenging schedule. Their record is good, but it could be a product of weak scheduling.

Javonte Green is the Highlanders stud, averaging 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds this season. The 6-4 forward has played exceptionally well, especially in a win versus Chattanooga where he dropped 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Sorry everyone for the short game preview. I’m feeling a little under the weather and its finals week. I greatly apologize, and thanks for reading.
