The Cougars started off the week strong by running North Texas out of the Marriott Center, but they ended the week with another loss to a ranked opponent. The good news is that BYU’s three losses have occurred against undefeated, ranked teams. In fact, all three teams are still undefeated at this point. The bad news is Chaz Williams and his UMass teammates drew up a blueprint for picking apart BYU’s zone defense. The Cougars need to re-establish defensive intensity and precision against Prairie View A&M as they gear up for huge away games at Utah and Oregon.
