The Bulldogs recorded an impressive victory over a big and talented New Mexico State team, despite struggling on the offensive side of the floor to start the game.
Gonzaga, from a statistical standpoint, is the best offensive team in the country. The Zags are shooting 54.9 percent from the field this season, which is the best percentage in the nation. Their 90.4 points per game is 4th in the nation and their 47.6 percent from three-point land is also first in the country.
The Bulldogs will play their first true road game of the season when they take on West Virginia at the WVU Coliseum.
