4. San Diego

Record: 7-2

Wins: South Dakota State, Grand Canyon, Morgan State, Northern Kentucky, San Diego Christian, UNC Greensboro, Southern Illinois

Losses: Illinois-Chicago, New Mexico

Movement: Up 1

When Johnny Dee is on, the Toreros are awfully tough to beat. In Saturday’s game at New Mexico, the Toreros took the Lobo’s down to the wire and almost pulled off the upset thanks to 25 points from Johnny Buckets.

If you throw out a bad loss to Illinois Chicago, the Toreros are playing as good as anyone in the WCC. The backcourt combination between point guard Christopher Anderson and Dee is living up to its billing. In addition to that, sophomore Duda Sanadze is emerging as a viable third option for USD. The Georgia (country) native is averaging 12.9 points this season.
