In a primarily offensive conference, stands before you one of the best defensive teams in the country. The Gaels are only allowing opponents to score 63.3 points per game (2nd in Conf.), shoot 42.1 percent from the field (2nd in Conf.) and 28.2 percent from three-point range (2nd in Conf.). Jordan Guisti is establishing himself as one of the better perimeter defends on the West Coast.
Brad Waldow is having himself heck of a start to the season. The junior center is averaging 17.7 points and 7.0 rebounds this season, and is establishing himself as the focal point of the Gaels offense. His 67.7 shooting percentage does not hurt either.
