First of all, I would like to apologize to our readers for the lack of game previews/game recaps. The weekends are the busiest time for me and my staffers, and it was impossible to complete all of those things today/tonight. We try and provide the best WCC coverage possible, but sometimes that is not entirely do-able.

With that being said, here is a look at the action that took place today in the WCC.

LMU vs. Marist

After a loss to Northern Iowa in the first round of the Paradise Jam, the Lions took down Marist by a score of 76-70.

Anthony Ireland led the Lions with 25 points on 6 of 10 shooting.

Gabe Levin was one rebound short of a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Reserve forward Alex Osbourne also had 9 rebounds tonight.

Pepperdine vs. Utah Valley

Pepperdine was able to avenge there lost against San Jose State by defeated Utah Valley by a score of 58-53.

Brendan Lane had another fabulous night with 11 points and 10 rebounds, leading the Waves in both categories. Senior guard Nikolas Skouen was the only other Wave to get in double-figures with 10.

Portland vs. North Texas

Portland was the only WCC to lose this evening, with the Pilots falling to the North Texas Mean Green by a score of 77-72.

For more coverage on the game, look out for an article by our writer David Thompson, which should be released in the near future.
