Jaleel Williams and Devonte Wilson were the Spartans leading scorers tonight with 22 and 20 points respectively. Senior forward Chris Cunningham controlled the glass with 10 rebounds.
Stat of the Night
With yet another stellar night, Lane’s blocks per game average raised to 4.5, ranking him 4th in the nation.

The Waves started off the game on a good note. Despite the Waves 40-26 start, Pepperdine never finished off the Spartans and eventually squandered away the lead.
The Bottom Line
This loss has to be extra sour for the Pepperdine men’s basketball team and its fans. The Waves were off to such a great start, and losing to the struggling Spartans is discouraging.
The Waves next action is this Saturday, when Pepperdine takes on Utah Valley at 5:00 p.m. PST.
