Jared Brownridge, a freshman from Aurora, Illinois, was phenomenal in this contest. Brownridge’s play tonight was reminiscent of elite Bronco scorer Kevin Foster. He showed his ability to score from all over the court, and shot the ball well from three-point land (5-10). Brownridge is a player that the Santa Clara fan base should be excited about.
Jalen Richard was another standout for the Bronco’s tonight. The freshman scored an efficient 15 points on 6 of 9 shooting. The excellent play of the Bronco freshman have helped replace the void left by Evan Roquemore, who was out this game with a back injury. The Bronco’s project to have a deep backcourt this year, which they can rely on when the going gets tough.
The Broncos next game is November 12th (Tuesday) against San Jose State at 8 PM PST.
