As a player entering his senior year, Cody Doolin is at the precipice of his 100th start as a San Francisco Don. At 99 starts, Doolin is the clear vocal leader on the court. He has been a consistent starter at USF since his freshman year and has built a strong relationship with each player on the court.
Coach Rex Walters comments on Cody’s strong basketball IQ, but his effort on the court separates him from the rest. Walters also identified Cody’s role as a coach on the hardwood, expecting the senior to elevate the entire Dons squad to success.
In a four year college career, entirely played in San Francisco, Cody Doolin is one of those special players that could be one of Rex’s masterpiece competitors. Walters recruited Cody out of Texas, and built him from the ground up since 2010. Both coach and player want to make sure Cody’s USF career ends with an exclamation point.
