With Kevin Foster, Marc Trasolini, and Raymond Cowels III gone, it is now Roquemore’s turn to run the show for the Broncos. Roquemore is a capable scorer and passer with all the intangibles to lead a team. However, saying and doing are two different things. As the Broncos starting point guard last season, Roquemore sported a 2.36 assist to turnover ratio, the fourth best in the WCC behind Gonzaga’s Mike Hart and David Stockton, and LMU’s Chase Flint. On top of that, Roquemore averaged 12.0 points and 3.2 rebounds last season. If Roquemore can continue to be an efficient player, while contributing more scoring and rebounding, he could very well be on the first or second team.
