The Cal-State Bakersfield men’s basketball team joined Division I in 2007. After six seasons as an independent, the Roadrunners are making the jump to the WAC. After a string of below average seasons, Cal-State Bakersfied has settled into the D-1 game. Senior guard Brandon Barnes (12.1 PPG last season) will lead the Roadrunners this season.
