Dons Notes: Breaking Down San Francisco’s Non-Conference Schedule

Last Season: 25-7 (19-1 Big Sky)

The Dons and Griz faced off in War Memorial Gym in 2012. The Green & Gold left the game with the win, but the Griz continued on to win the Big Sky Conference and earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament. In 2013, the Griz will return two starters and bring back potential new starters, four freshman, a junior college transfer, and have one redshirt returning.

Last year, Kareem Jamar led Montana with 21 points while Jordan Gregory added 14 off the bench. Both are looking for revenge in Montana as they return to the 2013 Griz squad . A potential match-up problem lies with 7’0″ sophomore center Andy Martin. The Dons lack height on their team and may platoon Mark Tollefson and Tao Xu the entire night to try to keep up the Montana’s bigs.
