Nevada Wolfpack

Friday, November 15th. San Francisco, California.

Last Season: 12-19 (3-13 Mountain West Conference)

UNR had a rough go at things during its first year in the MWC. They finished last in their conference with only three wins to show for all of their efforts. Even with a slow season, the Wolfpack managed to defeat the Dons in mid-December of 2012.

Fresh off an off-season tour of Italy, Nevada’s third regular season game will be a tilt with the Dons. The Green & Gold will be the middle game of a three game California road trip for the Wolfpack in mid-November. Other opponents include visits to Stockton (Pacific) and Bakersfield (CSU-Bakersfield).

Last year, the Dons needed a second half push to keep things tight in Reno. As the Wolfpack travel to San Francisco to complete the H/H series, they will be a much different team. UNR lost four members of last years team; three of them via transfer. In return, the Wolfpack picked up three transfers and one incoming freshman. These moves ultimately made the UNR team a taller team then it was before. The Dons are much improved on offense this year and should manage to put up more than the 51 points posted in Reno last year.
