American University Eagles

Sunday, December 22nd. San Francisco, California.

Last Season: 20-12 (10-4 Patriot League)

The last non-conference game of the year is a clash against the American University Eagles. Last year, the Dons were victorious over the Eagles in Washington D.C. early in the 2012-2013 schedule. The Eagles continued with a successful season primarily due to center Tony Wroblicky. The center led the Patriot League in field goal percentage of .638. American also returns Jordan Schoof who was third in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage. Lastly, the Eagles will pick up Darius Gardner after his redshirt season due to a transfer.

This will be a great final test for the Dons before the open up conference play against Portland at the Chiles Center on December 28th. WCC play begins prior to the New Year this year with the WCC Tournament kicking off in early March.
