Dons Notes: Breaking Down San Francisco’s Non-Conference Schedule

Last Season: 17-16 (8-10 Big East)

The Dons took care of the Red Storm with surprising ease last year at War Memorial Gym. Now, to complete the H/H series, the Green & Gold will travel to the East Coast and try to repeat their success. However, the Red Storm expect to be heavily improved from last year with returning players and new five-star recruit Rysheed Jordan. They even have the nation’s top shot blocker in Chris Obekpa.

Further, the Red Storm plan to have back D’Angelo Harrison after a team issued suspension. Many believe that not having D’Angelo on the court last year kept St. John’s from making the NCAA Tournament field. Other additions include red shirt returner God’sGift Achiuwa and Harvard transfer Max Hooper. This may be USF’s most difficult test during the non-conference schedule.
