Breaking Down Portland’s Non-Conference Schedule

Last Season: 11-20 (8-12 Big Sky).
The Thunderbirds struggled in the Big Sky last season, and to make matters worse, Southern Utah lost its four leading scorers from last season. Jackson Stevenett, Damon Heuir, Julian Scott (graduation), and Wade Collie (drug arrest) will not be with the team this upcoming season. The Thunderbirds will rely heavily on senior center Jayson Cheeseman, who averaged 6.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game last season.
