Coaches vs. Cancer Classic – North Texas, Idaho, and Columbia.
Thursday-Saturday, November 21st-23rd. Portland, Oregon.
Last Season (North Texas): 12-20 (7-13 Sun Belt).
Last Season (Idaho): 12-20 (7-11 WAC).
Last Season (Columbia): 12-16 (4-10 Ivy).
The Pilots will be participating in the Coaches vs. Cancer event, which should be no surprise considering Coach Reveno’s past support for cancer research. However, the Pilots have a lackluster slate in this particular event. None of the four teams playing at the Chiles Center in this event recorded a winning record last season, and all three visiting squads are losing significant players from last season. The Mean Green lost Tony Mitchell, who was drafted by the Detroit Pistons. The Vandals lost their star center, Kyle Barone (WAC Player of the Year), and the Tigers lost their only double digit scorer, Brian Barbour.
