The Lions will face another quality opponent in the 49ers of Long Beach State. However, they are losing their leading scorer and rebounder, James Ennis, who was the 49ers first scoring option last season on a multitude of different plays. However, Long Beach State could be in good hands this season, considering that its next five leading scorers are all returning. Guard Mike Caffey will be an integral part of the LBSU squad this season, and will be a tough matchup for LMU’s star point guard, Anthony Ireland.
