With leading scorers Daman Starrling and Adam Folker departing from UC Irvine, the Anteaters could struggle on offense this season. Pacific and UC Irvine played last season as Big West foes, and the Tigers took down the Anteaters two out of the three times they played. Pacific forward Tony Gill was fantastic against UC Irvine last season. In three games against the Anteaters, Gill averaged 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds. Gill will be seeing an increased role this season, and could be even more devastating against UC Irvine.
