Friday, November 8th. Reno, Nevada.

Last Season: 12-19 (3-13 MWC).

The Pacific Tigers will open up the season by traveling to Reno, Nevada, to take on the Wolfpack. Traditionally, Nevada finished towards the top of the WAC standings, but in its first year in the Mountain West the Wolfpack did not live up to usual expectations, finishing dead last in the Mountain West standings. The Wolfpack lost its last eight games of the season.

Pacific and Nevada have played each other for the last 11 seasons, and the Tigers have dominated the Wolfpack. Nevada has a 4-7 record against Pacific since 2002-2003, with the Tigers winning four out of the last five. Nevada does not have much of a post presence – a guard was its leading rebounder last season – and it can expect a heavy diet of Pacific forwards Tony Gill and Ross Rivera.
