San Jose State
Wednesday, November 20th. Malibu, California.
Last Season: 9-20 (3-14 WAC).
Former Pepperdine guard Jordan Baker will travel with his new team, the San Jose State Spartans, to take on the Waves in Malibu. The Spartans had a very rough season last year, which included 14 straight losses to end the season. To make matters worse, SJSU graduated one of the best scorers in the country, James Kinney, who averaged 20.6 points per game last season. To make matters even worse, San Jose State is moving to the Mountain West Conference, which is traditionally a much better basketball conference. It will be interesting to see how the Waves fare against the downtrodden Spartans.
