Fred Hoiberg and Iowa State continue to hold true to their strong reputation for landing high-impact transfer players. Former Marshall forward DeAndre Kane and former Northern Illinois guard Abdel Nader will continue on their college basketball playing careers in Ames, Iowa. The Cyclones also retain key contributors Melvin Ejim, Georges Niang and Chris Babb.
