No. 2- Kevin Pangos (Gonzaga)

By Josh Horton

Kevin Pangos is going into his third straight season as the Bulldogs starting point guard, and he seems poised for a great season. On the Gonzaga roster, many of the player have assumed specific roles on the team, and for Kevin Pangos that role is floor general. Pangos is the one that makes the Gonzaga offense run. He is the one that puts the ball in the right place in order for his teammates to have the ideal shot. He orchestrates the pick and rolls, and basically calls the shots on the offensive side of the ball for the Bulldogs. Pangos is not just a facilitator, he is a scorer as well. He does most of his damage from beyond the three point line, where he can be very streaky at times. He also has a very fluid teardrop floater that he can use to make shots over larger defenders. In the 2014-2015 season, expect Pangos to do all of this, and probably more now that Elias Harris and Kelly Olynyk are gone.
