WCC in the Summer League: Vegas Day 5

Luke Sikma

The son of former Seattle Supersonic and NBA legend Jack Sikma continues to impress. Sikma scored 4 points on 2-2 shooting, grabbed 2 rebounds, dished out 2 dimes, and had one steal in 8 minutes of action. The former Portland standout continues to impress everyone who is watching the NBA summer league with his all-around great play.

Mychel Thompson

After being featured in the starting lineup yesterday, Thompson came off the bench today for the Timberwolves in there 80-71 win over the Miami Heat. Thompson went scoreless, but had 1 rebound in the game.

Micah Downs

Micah Downs had another solid outing in the Las Vegas Summer League. Downs put up 11 points and had 5 rebounds in an 81-70 point victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Lorne Jackson

The former Pepperdine guard finally saw some action for the Washington Wizards, and he struggled. Jackson was 0-5 from the field, and only scored 1 point in 13 minutes of action. He did have 3 rebounds and 3 steals in the contest, to counteract his poor shooting performance.

The 12 lowest ranked teams will be playing first round games on wednesday, while the 10 highest ranked teams will have byes to the second round.
