Today, Micah Downs and the Indiana Pacers squeezed by the Utah Jazz by a score of 79-73. Micah Downs was on the court for just over 13 minutes of action, and he made some moderate contributions. Downs scored 7 points and tallied 1 rebound against the Utah Jazz. He also had 1 steal and 1 assist in the contest.

Downs is not putting up overwhelming numbers, but there are some encouraging things to come out these summer league games. For example, Micah Downs has been seeing an increase in minutes ever since the first game against Oklahoma City; Downs has played 13, 15, and 15 minutes after playing only 9 against the Thunder on July 7th. In that game against OKC, Downs played the least amount of minutes among all Pacers players. In the latest game against the Jazz, Downs was the third player off the bench in terms of minutes. This increase in playing time can only be a good thing for Downs chances of making an NBA roster.

The Pacers are now 2-2 in the Orlando Summer league. Solomon Hill, the rookie from Arizona, is leading Indiana in scoring with 14.5 points per game. Miles Plumlee, the second year player out of Duke, is the main force on the glass for the Pacers with 9.5 rebounds per game.

Next Game: Tomorrow. Vs. TBA. Time TBA. NBA TV.
