Santa Clara Receives Commitment from 2015 Guard Matt Hauser

Kerry Keating and Santa Clara just received a commitment from 6’0 2015 guard Matt Hauser, who just finished his junior season at Thousand Oaks High School.  Hauser is best known for his 41 point performance this past December in the Arroyo Grande Tournament Championship.

Despite being on the smaller side, Hauser is an underrated athlete who can finish in transition and can move without the ball to free himself up for jump shots, where he gets great list and has a quick release.  He will have the opportunity to contribute immediately when he gets to SCU because starting guard Brandon Clark is set to graduate after the 2014-15 season.
