With the loss of 3 starters in Trasolini, Foster, and Cowells, and a solid role player in Harrison, most prognostications foresaw the Broncos regressing this season. The regression is certainly for real, as SCU is the only WCC squad under .500 thus far in the season.

While Brownridge and Brown have both shown promise, it seems that the graduation loss will be too much for Santa Clara to make noise this year, unless the team comes together in time for WCC play. SCU dropped their last game to Cal Poly, despite showing some encouraging signs in a blowout win against CSU Bakersfield.

SCU is at home next against non-d1 La Sierra. Santa Clara, like most schools, is in the throes of finals this week.
